Moments of Victory is officially dead, my friends[to my khatib friends especially]. There will be nothing else but East Wing from now on...

But it's good to say that I'm not in any group from now onwards.

Why?

1. SOME people who are so fantasized about their mini-groups that they can go around ruining other people's DOTA game. Fantastic!

2. SOME people who do not call to go for a year-end BBQ... LAGI FANTASTIC BODOH! End up if I join East Wing next time they pangseh me alone again.. bloody bastards..

3. SOME people don't practice what they preach. [Maybe in the future as well]

I'm of course sad about the breakup of a good clan [with the exception of the clan leader].. What brought as together... will also force us apart.

You say there is no leader for East Wing, but the fact is that the prominent person is already there! Soon there will be one... and it will be the repeat of history again.

I wish to thank Sebastian Tan [aka Ah Long] and Peter Teo [my first Yugioh teacher] for their endless support throughout my years in dueling.. I will never forget these 2 guys.. one day I will return all favours that I owe you two...

And to the sick bastard who returned TIT FOR TAT during Asia 2010 and SCREWED UP my scores by allowing me to bypass, FUCK YOU BITCH! I will make sure it will be made known to the yugioh fraternity.

From now on I will concentrate on my collection, as well as a little something extra; to pass on my knowledge onto my new fellow duelists.. We will see something in the future..

1st duel: Do wrong stunt I summon brionac liao then I forgot I got 1 more death kaiser! Wtf! Should have summoned the death kaiser first.
2nd duel: I think ah long got bad hand so I used sorceror just beat until win.
3rd duel: Burial is IMBALANCED. Save my life and win by timeout.

6th and FINAL Match vs Daniel[Cosmos Beat]: OXO - 2points
1st duel: Lyla control his back field and Dark Armed Dragon hit the field pretty easily :D
2nd duel: His hand too god! Necroface ownage and D.D. Dynamite in the face =(
3rd duel: Losing from the start but TOP DRAW HEAVY STORM and I got charge of the light brigade after heavy storm so get back control from there and finally win. (:

1. And I still haven't got a very satisfactory answer for my walkover in Round 2 of Asia 2010 which screwed my scores up.

2. And you think I'm stupid. I'm fucking trained as an admin before in other forums so I know how to operate them and you think I'm fucking stupid by thinking that I'm gonna believe that someone else deleted the flame thread. Use your brain, I can actually check the logs.

3. And you think you have people supporting you. Correction - Someone, no wait that's wrong - something that is supporting you only is your BIG EGO.

4. And you fucking abused your authority too many times... How come I'm in the judge team before and yet I don't touch the pairings computer? Because I don't want to get accused of cheating. But how come you're so special must go touch the computer? Hands too itchy?

Asian tournament 2010... yeahh stress =_= had only 3 hours of sleep the night before because I was thinking about what to play and what to side against lightsworn and vayu...

1st Round VS Lester[Twilight]: XOO
Shit kena pawn for first round because I do wrong stunt LOL supposed to come out Laquari I go get Equeste get back my murmillo :S Second round managed to capitalize on the mistake Lester made so I won... 3rd round won by timeout cuz we were playing too slowly..

Some little misunderstanding here... Dun know why ppl like to accuse me of cheating after the game zz the rest I dun wish to mention... totally f-ed up.

2nd Round Walkover???

Dun understand why with 1 wins can walkover. Didn't get a very good explanation on this.

3rd Round VS Tan Yong Siang[Vayulord]: OXO

First round control him with Retari keep remove his vayu from the game so he cannot special summon out big monsters... I remember whacking him for game with a 3000 heraklinos beatstick. :D Second round was controlling with kycoo but shit lol I let him brainwash my kycoo in the end kena control -_- Third round opponent bad hand [2 vayu, 2 necro gardna and 1 plaguespreader zombie]. I activate Dimension Fissure and he give me the sian sian look when I trapdustshoot him LOL.

4th Round VS Akira[BlackFeatherBeat]: XX

First round failed to capitalize on the morphing jar deceptive trick I did on him... He looked quite stunned after I removed all his vayu and gale from play... Kept drawing dark bribes so... SCOOP! Second round I had a pretty bad hand... all monsters I can't control but I managed to exterminate his icarus :D LOL that was enough to satisfy me. All the forum flames about him; "Floating effect! Ya BF - Blizzard of the North Pole is FLOATING EFFECT!" At least I managed to make his hands shiver when I did the morphing jar stunt on him... was pretty funny but nevertheless a good game...

Overall score 3-1 Ranked 14th in Swiss... and they call for top 8... cb.

How much coolie aka saikang work you want us to do? What the hell and it's all because of a stupid exercise "codenamed" EXERCISE WALLABY. Dumb Wallaby. Seriously. I can't stand losing sleep when we have to wake up SO EARLY just to get a stupid angmoh guy to check our stuff. What's with australia about contamination. Singapore contamination spread over to australia? What crap.

Example here: You bring an apple that was planted and grown in Australia and it gets shipped over to Singapore; you wanna bring the apple back into Australia? Fat hope. That's just because the Australians claim that the apple gets contaminated when it reaches Singapore. What crap again.

World Tournament 2009

Yugioh World Tournament!

I was judging for the prestigous annual event... usually I'll be playing but I recently ran out of luck so I decided to join the judge team...

Being a judge allowed me to view different strategies from different perspectives... Somewhat like a good enrichment lesson... experience is more than what meets the eye... Being a judge allowed to have the power to influence, the power to decide critical moments.. like what happened just now.

Found many new and cool cards, really great that I finally found some of the stuff I need...

I disqualified a person today. I don't know what brought me to decide that he should be disqualified, but there was enough reason that he should be disqualified. First, he was late. Fault 1. Second, he used handphone during a top16 duel. Fault 2. Third, he violated the rules of the game a dozen of times which escaped the eyes of the other judges. I'm sorry Xiang jie was one of the persons who suffered under it, but I made sure Benjamin didn't get an unfair duel.

I saw a lot of good players, including the lightlord player [farid I think] whom I really respect and I believe future players should follow in his footsteps..

Will fill the details next week... gonna book in soon...

P.S. I will not live my life in agony just because of a failure.

Ok... I know my blog is getting dusty so I'm here to clear up the dust... :D

Anyway I passed out from SISPEC 2 weeks ago... as a corporal :) Posted to signals for my sergeant course... back to mugging! Anyway, I had a break of about 9 days after I passed out... So I shall talk about it?

After I passed out from BSLC, actually I kinda miss my PC, his cartoon face... and his cold jokes that always nver fail to make the whole company laugh... although he kinda like, every single joke is directed at me... No wonder my friends say I was [notice the past tense] his favourite trainee.

Anyway this week has been ok, a lot of mafia wars, ragnarok online, yugioh training and competitions and meeting up with a few of my old secondary school mates... and the platoon outing on monday :D

Platoon outing was fun but sadly it rained heavily so our trip to sentosa had to be cancelled... watched angels and demons.. a very intelligent movie... then went to sky's house to slack and play mahjong! But I didn't play mahjong la cuz I knew nothing about it so I watched movies after movies at his house then we started facebook-ing here and there hahaha it was damn fun... kfc and pizza hut.. and I'm starting to get fatter!

Tuesday, wednesday and thursday was nothing much, except the yugioh trainings at simei and stuff... routine yawn

Friday went to YJC for my godsis Rachael's council investiture.. was a bit stunned at the candle-lighting but it was a glorious sight (: I guess my godsis has a huge burden on her now... :D Good luck sis!

Saturday ah, was the day when I started to actually hate. I'm serious. Imagine people pointing a gun at your head at point blank when you're actually trying to suggest something good for the welfare of the others. Seriously that sucks. I won't and I can't be bothered to mention this guy's name, although he has been blacklisted by me in my first few blog posts.

And sorry for the others who are reading my frustrations, I simply can't stand it when he is actually teaching my disciple what to do in front of me. WHAT KIND OF RESPECT IS THIS? AT LEAST SHOW SOME RESPECT FOR THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU LA. And your rulings on the game totally suck so you don't even deserve to comment on a game.

And u wanna invite more people into politics? By all means go ahead. Use my match against him as a criteria to enter? No thanks thats a game of chance.

Kinda sian of going back to routine again, but no choice, I want my 3SG, and I have to work to get it.

Last week of BSLC le... Haha happy but worried at the same time, scared kena posted to ASLC sia.. I also feeling weird before 28km route march haha

We had nights out and happy hour last week... WE FINALLY HAD A CHANCE TO SLEEP IN BUNK IN BETWEEN TRAININGS LOL! Its like so common during BMT that we have a chance to sleep between trainings but definitely not for SISPEC...

Talking about my SISPEC I think its so much better than BMT loh. Trainings are tougher but you have great friends here and there supporting you to take up a greater challenge =) You have a few black sheep here and there in SISPEC but yeah, life's much better without them (:

Well really wanna thank my bunkmates for their help and support along my life in SISPEC man, they really rock... Tat Leong, Yiming and Elroy! The 4-man bunk! I'm really gonna miss you guys haha!

IPPT is screwed up but at least I passed for it... well what I can say is that I tried my best, pull up managed to increase by 1 from BMT, 2.4km run timing is slowly improving...haha.. now 11mins flat..

Talking about my life in BSLC, and the trainings...

Navigation is really screwed up, bashing through trees ain't fun. I REALLY hope I have nothing to do with navigation again.

Live firing has always been fun and the route marches that couple with it... OUR HOTEL 2IC SIMPLY ROCKS... He motivates us A LOT... I think Hotel Company really loves him hahaha... WHO ARE YOU!!! HOTEL COMPANY!!!

Morning runs suck... thats all I can say

Lectures are boring... and we have to pass tests... mugging technique used! Mwahaha

I screwed SOC, but at least I could do low rope now... however I could nver do the monkey bars... yawn

And the comps at the annex room! HAHAHA DOTA AND COUNTERSTRIKE LOL!!

Anyway BSLC really has been very fruitful... looking forward to promotion to CPL and subsequently 3SG =D

How long have I not updated my blog? Hahaha quite long already yeah... lots of field camps the past few weeks... Finally its over!

I've learnt a lot of lessons during the field camps, especially when it comes to improving my memory... forgot to bring lots of stuff.. Kena tekan like mad...

IPPT was screwed up. 1 more pull up and I could get silver. Now for the screwed up RT book-in tonight. My class outing has been ruined! Argh!

BSLC is almost over, I never thought I'd been able to finish this course with so little sleep everyday. Just 2 weeks more to POP LOH!

Anyway, just comparing some random stuff, when some people decide to bring contraband items to field camp...

In BMT Tekong I get my Platoon Commander saying this:

"Why, testing water is it?"

Now, there's a all new classic way of saying it.

In SISPEC I get my Platoon Commander [PC] saying this:

YOU WILL DROWN!"

HAHAHA LOL!

Class outing at Miss Lee's house... was rather incomplete to me; I'm not too sure what's lacking, but I know atmosphere was one of them.

A wasted day again. I stopped hard in my tracks, trapped in the mud, unable to remove myself from it anymore.

Some thoughts on my navigation trial on thursday and friday...

Navigation was fun, but not about falling on wet mud on steep slopes.

Thursday Navigation
This thought appeared in my mind when I fell, "Just give up, this slope is too steep for you to climb and navigate to your next checkpoint." Just when I was about to give up, my platoon mate, William [aka Chun Ming] appeared to assist me in climbing that steep part of the hill by giving me the first push.

I'll never forget the feeling of helplessness after I fell. And that will also be one lesson for me how important friendship is.

Never underestimate the power of friendship =)

Night navigation was better, although I fell another time because this time I was all alone in the jungle and it was pitch black all the way. I knocked into a thick tree trunk while bashing through a couple of thick bushes along the way... and fell again... but this time I picked myself up and continued on with navigation. Eventually out of the 2 checkpoints I was supposed to reach, I missed one by a checkpoint distance [which is relatively short] and hit the other one.

Friday navigation was more of climbing hills, but it was raining heavily so the navigation trip with my section ended halfway and we had to return to company line... but nevertheless these 2 days have really been very fruitful, although it was extremely tiring. =)

I learnt some things today...

1) to cook at least a decent meal
2) to fix up my new computer

I guess this we all enjoy some contentment in our life right? =D

What's the use being so ambitious in what we do? What's important, I believe, is to be content with you have; your friends, your family, your girlfriend, etc.

Quote from late President Wee Kim Wee, "Contentment means that, while one has to strive to achieve, one must know when to step on the brakes before one goes over the preipice of greed."

I truly agree with his definition of contentment, because, regardless what who we are, what race and nationality are we from, we all have at least a dream we wan't to fulfill.

I, of course, have my own dreams to fulfill, and I'll try all I can to achieve it. That's human nature for you. So what in for being content? That is, we should be thankful for whatever that is given to us, in the meantime, we strive to achieve what we desire, but not to the extent where it harms another individual, be it directly or indirectly.

Well I guess that's one blogpost so rare.

Asian Tournament 2009

Ehzz, yesterday was a very tiring day... wake up at 5.30am then reached home at 11pm...

Asian tournament was a surprise to me as I somehow.. managed to get into top 8.. Bad thing was, there was no prizes -.- only for top 4. WOJJ is retarded seriously.

Here goes for the tournament report...

I was playing a weird variant of Black Feather deck

1st Swiss Round : VS A Fish Deck - Win 2-0
Somehow I managed to survive his swarm and win him 2-0 on the spot. BF - Arms Wing + Sirocco's focus fire won me the second game =D

2nd Swiss Round : VS Lightsworn Deck - Win 2-1
Opponent was leading first because he killed me with 2 judgment dragons, 1 lumina and a wulf. 2nd round was just controlling him with gale + armoured wing + light imprisoning mirror... and 3rd round was mostly the same as the 2nd round as well... I got lucky =D

3rd Swiss Round : VS Mirror Deck - Win 2-0
BF mirrors are really simple, you get a god hand, you win.

4th Swiss Round : VS Mirror Deck - Win 2-1
Look at baha's combo - Dark Dive x2 + Direct dmg = 8000 exact kill. Lost to the first round by this... managed to get back to win the next 2 games by armoured wing + god hand...

5th Swiss Round : VS Mirror Deck - Lose 0-2
Unfortunately, I messed up this round =/ Yikes.

Ranked 8th out of 120 people who played = entry to top 16

Top 16 match : VS Rick [Black Feather] - Win 2-1
He had a god hand in the first round so I could do nothing much to try and get back the control of the game. Almost did it, but my top draws sucked so yeah... 2nd round I won him by poking him with a 1300atk gale of hurricane... 3rd was a god hand so it was instant one turn kill...

Top 8 match : VS Alex Yeo [Black Feather] - Lose 0-2
First time I used my combo against him, but failed cuz he had a better hand than me =(

Anyway congrats to ah long for getting 4th and alex yeo for getting 1st!!!

Woot yesterday was the release of the A level results! I scored quite okay la... except for Biology... zz sianz

Bloody D. But nevertheless I can get to the applied maths course in NUS! WEE!

Special thanks to Miss Michelle Lee for the incredible amount of help she rendered me, and she is the reason why a person who never take A maths in secondary school can get an A for H2 Maths =) Kudos to Miss Michelle Lee =)))

General Paper was a surprise. I remember I didn't do a lot of questions in the comprehension and I thought, more or less I was a goner. But I guess my essay did pull it up, but I'm more than content already =D

Now the obstacle has [somewhat] been removed, time to pursue my passion!

And not forgetting the people who wished me good luck before the release of the A level results! Thanks!

Chinese New Year

Oh what the heck.

Chinese new year wasn't as good as I expected, but I got more angpaos.. that should make up for it =D

Firstly, I was so god damn lucky to get a guard duty on chinese new year eve. And that means, missing the annual reunion dinner that I nver fail to attend every year. And I hear people speaking about, "Hey, everyone has his fair share in the army, you should do what you should.". Talking about fair share... [rolls eyes]

Nevertheless, guard duty was unexpectedly fun, with CK and Alastair. Cool guys to talk to, gossiping seems imminent given the boring schedule of guard duty. Met a few new friends from platoon 1... blessing in disguise? Haha thanks to Hin Hui from PLT1 for being my guard duty partner.. we are both typical slackers, talking cock here and there... hahaha and the first shift, we received news that checks were gonna come soon so we were quite in a rush haha... the sergeants were really nice; they taught as all they could but there was some mistake so they got scolded when the checks came... the irony of all that we two [Hin hui and me] got praised by the Yankee company sergeant major... rawrr

What we actually did was just, duty, sleep, duty, sleep. NOTHING ELSE! My mp3 nearly ran out of battery after that...

Chinese new year was okay, went a lot of relatives' house to visit, and everyone starts screaming, "Wah Ronald! Bald liao sia! How's army life?"...

The thing that was most worth remembering was the lunch at my paternal grandfather's house. My grandfather's maid whom the whole family refers to as "Auntie Lina" taught me how to cook! I love her cooking; everytime there is a chance, I'll go over to savour her cooking, especially her scrambled eggs and cod fish... yumyum =D

Anyway, fruitful new year, I actually have a resolution now, that is to get into OCS. =)

Bad things that happened today

1) Blisters on leg during Route March [actually 3km dunno why i kena cheated.. I did 4km..]
2) Our platoon kena tekan by sergeant until no tomorrow
3) Bus that was ferrying us to pasir ris interchange was 1 hour late [zzz wtf if not i dun need rush to simei liaos]

Good things that happened today

1) Earn over 100 dollars by selling and trading cards
2) Got a new PSP Slim [thanks daddy]

Starting met them after I collected my duelist box from marcus at khatib... then we went city hall to get our WOW TCG starter decks... heh going in another game soon mwahaha not bad la the art of the game... I need more thrills =D

If you were wondering why daniel was missing amongst the single photos... because I didn't have a chance to shoot him in a candid way haha... but the team photo is there...

And it was very nostalgic cuz since last year we built our basics all thanks to peter... I meant the 1st gen disciples... and peter said to us, we'll have to continue to seek improvement in our yugioh skill... he mentioned a lot of past history stuff to us... so we got to know our clan better... perhaps know that it has its own weaknesses and strengths too? Heh thanks daniel for buying me the "absolute zero" comic book at kino... haha after that we took the train back home...

Before I enlist in the army, I wanna thank my teammates, qingwen and xiang jie for their everlasting support for team trainings and outings... yeah actually most of the effort should go to peter for building our foundations... where we can improve and soar to greater heights.. One should always seek improvement, never to be stagnant... cuz you won't want to be overtaken... maybe for me since i'm quite competitive.. not forgetting jeffrey also haha.. for the crazy trainings for the DKT tournament back then... Still remb that time go khatib to train.. then got migraine after that..

"One should NEVER be stagnant, and should always seek improvement in every area of life." - This should be quite appropriate to our PCB team motto.. where areas I have succeeded, I can say that it wasn't easy to reach there.. Peter I'd have to rely on you to take care of xiang jie and qingwen.. train hard for the tournament! Remember that nothing is impossible! Aim for straight kills all the way... 2-0 if possible if not 2-1...

I don't know if I'll still play as crazily as I did before, after the army.. but one thing is for sure. I'll give it my all for tournaments, trainings.. and definitely I'll be as crazy as before... buy booster packs like nobody's business lol... maybe this time... in boxes... lol.

At 6pm twins left, joslyn and petrina arrived... ate dinner at kfc... then went in to night safari... quite interesting la some but haha I dun dare go in the bat enclosure... then the first part of the tram ride was really stupid lah... the commentator had an extremely weird accent.. couldn't take it... the 2nd half was better when we decided to take the other tram... We left night safari at about 9.30pm... it was a long day of walking... but it was very fulfilling yet disappointing at the same time...

Anyway.. I hope to see 307 again in the coming month!!! I really never had such a bonded class until S307.. haha

I was using the DDBFTK decklist, but modified a bit to suit the metagame situation in the finals...

The tournament goes by double elimination, a person has 2 lives, if he loses twice, he's out.

Haha went to the 13th qualifier for CDL tourney, was close to the win.... but... nvm

VS Kevin[Plant] - Win 2-0
Made short work of him in the first round with brionac, dark dive and dark armed dragon. Second was even funnier, brionac loop with 2 burial from a different dimension.

VS Poh Choon[Light Beatdown] - Win 2-0
Lol had to blame him for giving me such a gay hand in the first round. 1st Burial, he solemned, 2nd burial, he ll have to down there keep paying for oppression until he had 200 lifepoints left then I dropped a dark armed dragon and he scooped! 2nd round was more fun, he had me locked down with oppression, so i took hits from his fossil dyna for quite a while until i drew my mirror force and ryko, so in the end he had no cards in his hand and all 3 spell/trap cards got blown away by my heavy storm and my revived king hades and goblin zombie just attacked for game.

VS Joseph[DAD tele] - Lose 1-2
Starting had a dam gay hand, so i thrashed him the first round with brionac, 2 goyo guardian, 1 red dragon archfiend and revived king hades. Second and third was quite suay, had monster hands and he just used dark dive to kill me... how ironic lol.

Got nth to say, he couldn't go up so he helped me a bit ^_^ Thanks desmond!

Just wanna dedicate this post to those who have rendered tremendous amount of help to me in JC as well as support... A levels is here... heh I just finished the GP paper... paper 2 was a killer I could do nothing but crap all the way lalala.. paper 1 write until my hand pain 3 full foolscap paper used finish..

Definitely 1st goes to Miss Michelle Lee of course
I remember I went in MJC during the first 3 months, was shocked at the criteria to science faculty, cuz compulsory need take H2 Maths.. and I didn't have a additional maths background so I struggled a huge lot, esp with the trigonometry part... even though it was the first two months [not too sure if I would stay], Miss Lee helped me all the way, I think I had like 5 consultations during that period of time with her... all were consultations on trigonometry cuz I did a great deal of trigonometry practice...

Received my O level results, first one to call was Miss Lee. She encouraged me to go in MJC since I had a A1 for e maths.. so I decided to try out JC, if cannot sway sway after 2 years then go poly lor... Went in, then slacken liao.. disappointed Miss Lee a lot of times, cuz tests keep failing and assignments, tutorials never do at all.. Got one time I remember she got so mad with me then she scold me in front of class... dun wan say le, after that super emo.. then thought about it, eh, what else could I do but maths now? Chemistry Dept is the department famous for massacring students during exams, bio dept quite slack, what else can i do but maths? You guys may call me crazy now cuz every day i'll be doing at least some maths, if not whole day is maths i also won't sian. So the plan down was to work on my maths such that it will be of a very good standard. [O level also practice like some crazy kid everyday do maths paper non-stop] Started going for regular consultations again [every thursday] cleared questions after another... but yet slack again so mid year exams did very badly... after which it was Miss Lee who persuaded me not to give up [partially was because I had a study group with Samuel and Amir], so I decided to sit down and work real hard.

Prelims was a disappointment, nevertheless I finally passed maths. Quite heartening but disappointing at the same time. Lost 20 over marks cuz careless mistakes + that day I got fever and runny nose super suay lor. More consultations after that and the de-stressing talks I had with her proved very useful in my climb to an A for maths.

Tml is the maths paper 1, and I SWEAR I won't disappoint Miss Lee this time.

P.S. Other than my best maths teacher in secondary school, Mr John Lim, Miss Michelle Lee was another person who inspired me to teach maths... all say I good at biology, can be bio teacher, but no inspiration in JC lei + now my bio lousy like mad, so decided to do maths in uni anyway [If i can ever get in].

I've a few equations to present:

Miss Lee, you made me believe that equation 2 can be achieved. Thank you so much for all the consulations you've given me, the advice, the encouragement, all these I will never forget.

2nd goes to Mr Clarence Yeo CSE teacher
Went in MJC during PAE, decided I should try something new, so I chose China Studies in English as my contrasting H1 subject. I remember I asked myself one question, which part of history are you interested and you want to find out more about it? General History? No. World after Cold War? No. China after 1978 during the Reform Era? Yes. Ok so first time took a totally new subject, new ways of teaching, new ways of doing source-based questions.

Believe me or not, I'm very attentive [although sometimes I accidentally doze off] during CSE lessons. I yearn to attend CSE lesson every week. Mr Yeo's lesson mostly is very interesting except for some dry parts where I would doze off. =P Mr Yeo's sarcasm is extremely tough to detect, but I got used to it after a while lol... Mr Yeo dislikes Jiang Zemin [heng this is not in China man]. Mr Yeo is one humanities teacher who would allow you to realise that cse is a fun subject, as well as one subject that you can score well in it fairly easily. I did little or no practice for source-based so that explains my disastrous results in mid years and prelims [both got 28/80 horrendous]. After which Mr Yeo, week after week I saw him for consultations, and he helped me along with source based... now I'm safe to say that I'm quite well prepared for source based, perhaps not the essay yet =x [but its next week what =D]

I guess Mr Yeo would be the ideal teacher for CSE, and being one of the school's counsellors [I think], he helped me alot with my work and handling of stress level. Got one sentence Mr Yeo say, I won't forget.

"Go in the exam hall with the aim to excel, not go in there and just think that you'll fail."

Mr Yeo will be one humanities teacher I'll remember for life, other than Mr Azhar in my secondary school.

I remember she doesn't go online often.. that time was quite emo after op dry run then she came online to console me yeah I'm really grateful to have a friend like her.

Shermaine: Someone who seems like she doesn't know how to dress herself up but actually she's an expert at it... Don't judge a book by its cover!!! She's someone I can talk to and actually she has helped me alot in overcoming the "Binomial Theorem phobia"...

Joslyn: Our class outing planner! Yes she's the one who does all the outing planning, as well as the teachers' day video [making me feel quite guilty as a result of not participating much in it =x] without her i think our class wouldn't be so bonded like now... bubbly and outgoing personality.. And one girl whose passion for dance is unrivalled to any other dancer I've known in my life..

Vivien: Part of the fos clique!! I think she's a great person to talk to esp that time study until quite late at study benches... then talk a lot of crap haha.. quite destressing..

Zhenyan: Haha "live-near-to-me" neighbour.. used to topang my mom's car back then but then got into the habit of getting up late so........ Dubbed the "Chemistry Queen" in class.. unrivalled with it comes to chemistry... suddenly i feel so malu ==

Samantha: PW group leader! Really thoughtful girl yeah... remember that time you cheer me up when i fail my mid year maths paper.. Without you I don't think our group can get an A... Really have to thank her for being so caring.. she's very hardworking as well...

Desmond Lim: Maths rep and one of the person who has rendered quite a bit of help in my maths.. used to be my dota partner but he has chosen to be neutral [not choosing the scourge or the sentinels] because of incoming influence by muggers... [Soon after I caught the 'mugger' disease as well...]

Miss Lee's Wedding Buffet

Hooray~ Today is Miss Lee's wedding!!

At around 10.30am I was already at the mrt, thanks to my mum I didn't get to eat breakfast so I was waiting for the rest to appear... Thomas came first.. followed by Shermaine, Vivien... until Zhenyan came then we all left for Ang Mo Kio...

Journey was long, about 1 hr until we reached Ang Mo Kio station.. followed by a 10minutes walk to Miss Lee's house.. until we reached her house... for some it was totally unexpected.. Miss Lee was wearing her traditional wedding gown!! Dam chio can!!

We went into Miss Lee's house, then start taking class photos with her and Jeremy haha~ S307 and S402 if I'm not wrong.. quite interesting.. lol Amir say he dun wan come de then he suddenly appear is like dam random lol.. Then all start to feast on the buffet mwahaha the fried rice is dam nice..

Then is the "prize-giving" session.. everyone got a gift for the couple.. ours was the couple t-shirt which was really very nice... the funniest part was the bananas given by wei guang lol.. the card was creative and humourous at the same time..

After which was phototaking again where people here and there get sabotaged [future couples to be - yeah right] to take photos with the couple... And of course I got sabotaged... my classmates who were there will know... lol okay la fun session for everyone... at least it was fun for me... never really been to a wedding buffet before so its like a first experience for me..

Hmm heartfelt congratulations to my dearest teacher on her wedding.. finally found your true love... May you both live in eternal bliss and also zao shen gui zi[faster to have kids]..

National Day eve today. Went to school to watch a movie.. got 2 movies, sepat and the other movie. [watched sepat so didn't bother to know what was the other movie's name]

Sepat was quite an interesting movie. It's about a chinese guy in malaysia who is in love with a malay girl. Seriously I thought it was very thought-provoking, concerns the social discrimination in Malaysia. It's somewhat similar to what they have in Sri Lanka[for Social Studies students, you should know this] where preferential treatment is rife.

Then I thought, would racial discrimination plunge Singapore into chaos if it were to happen like in the previous decades? The government, implements policies to foster social relations between races; but the question is, can the policies be as effective in testy periods?

Ok so after the movie, went with classmates to TM to eat. And I'm never going to step into Swensens again. Seriously is damn expensive can. One meal, my wallet became empty.

So tired lah. Last night 1.30am then sleep. CSE think until so long then can get the few issues. Training my brain to think even harder... Was so tired, that I almost couldn't get up in the morning.

Vectors in the morning proved to be okay. Managed to grasp the ever-so-familiar concepts I used to remember. Vectors used to be my best topic in maths. But it has relegated to being the 2nd lousiest. My lousiest - Binomial Theorem.

Doing homework now seems to be similar to playing dota matches [am I crazy or what?] Complex numbers mixed with estimations of the loci on the Argand Diagram with ethanolic KCN for a step-up reaction on a halogenoalkane with carbon reduction and fixation and the ribulose bisphosphate in the Calvin Cycle... proved to be as complex as how it is to win a dota match.

Play has been a thing of a past to me, something I might forget in the future.

Good Luck while I chiong for prelim... Anyway, today bio lesson was a bit mad, Miss Wang went around to check our essays whether we completed them already anot.. and guess what. Many were chased out of the LT. Luckily not me although I didn't complete last part of essay [or at least I did like 1/2 of it]. Very distracting sia seriously over the whole revision lecture people keep getting chased out so I didn't take down some points.. Super distracting

And he sux bodoh dun have to tell everyone who's my nemisis in class right? Basket. Then still contradict yourself say dun wan name anyone... in the end also say me right?? Damn you, may the curse of a thousand LION-sized fleas be on BOTH your armpits.[So not original]

At least I can sleep now. I'm tired.

Eheh, came back from school at about 3++.. came back, bathed, went to simei until abt 6 then i went to meet travis at downtowneast... he complained that I didn't even know ehub was dte... aiya, i suaku ma... mug until dunno dte renovate finish liao =x

Was supposed to watch a movie de... but the free seats are in front so travis didn't want to watch because we are gonna get neck aches after the movie... so travis brought me to the shop called SP noodles I think... His school open de... the laksa was very hot! Yes and the cold noodles are like the ones sold in my school previously! And travis, typically, always dun like to feel paiseh... because SP students got discount there then he dun dare ask cos he feel paiseh LOL.. but in the end he did because he didn't want a big hole in his pocket.. Lol he's learning Differential Equations also! Yesterday he asked me how to do, then i was like... thinking... then couldn't try to solve it so I just asked him to copy that question and go home and let me try it... so I did! And I solved it this morning!

After that we went mccafe for cold chocolate [sounds ironical] and i bought a brownie cuz I haven't had one for a while... tasty man! We chatted all the way until 9+ then decided to go home lol... seriously the feeling is great when u get to catch up with your secondary school friends, as well as sharing your thoughts... Lol and he talked about his lecturer saying thefwords lol... dam funny.. and the lecturer who was one of the interviewers for his scholarship... hear like that lecturer is damn arrogant or smth... 24/25 not good enough meh??? FTW. In jc u get that kind of grade ppl call you GODLIKE liao lo.. I mean in my jc... LOL

Just felt rather emo-ish after I received my cse mid year results. Wasn't so surprising, because I expected the worst. Didn't study, focused on all the other subjects, so what happened? Got shot dead for almost all.

My ionic equilibrium concepts are in a mess, for quite long already. I don't know why I just would mess up an ionic equilibrium test/tutorial. I can't seem to get the facts into my head. It is seriously gonna be tough if I'm going to knock it through.

Quoted from Miss Wang Siew Ping, one of the Biology teachers in my school, "When you are determined and willing to work hard, nothing will be too tough, although the process maybe." Seriously it just woke up my inner self again. But I don't know how long can this last. It pulled me through O's, but I'm not sure if I could knock through the A's with fantastic results like I got in my O's. I seriously must stop using the comp too often, and going out with friends.

When I saw Miss Wang's prelim results and her A level results, I got kinda shocked. F for bio in prelims and A for bio in A levels. Seriously it IS a miracle. But I'm not going to let what happened to Miss Wang happen to me. No way.

Ok so overall, I hope to accomplish 3 things before next week starts.
1) File everything up for every subject, makes revision much easier.
2) Stop procrastinating and think that everything has a quick solution to it.
3) Reduce my computer usage time to 6 hours a week - very tough, hope I can do it

Now lets get out of the emo-ish post, to what happened today.

Sat Tourney

Woo hoo I can't believe it myself! I won weekend tournament! I took Qingwen's Gladial Beast build to tourney, and I won! Woot, I shared my prize, retro pack + crossroads of chaos packs with qingwen.

But it wasn't good as either qingwen or I would be in the finals since we met in the semi finals == I thought I would meet qingwen in finals but so unlucky I have to vs him in semis sian... I got Blue eyes ultimate dragon, gate guardian, time wizard and card destruction... I gave the 2nd place, Ah long aka Long ge the time wizard, gave Qingwen the gate guardian; since 2nd got nothing I might as well give him something for getting to 2nd place! Anyway it was a good match with Ah long, a tough one to be exact, cos of the Dark Armed Synchro deck he is playing, one of the top few decks in Japan... haha my deck also the top few in Japan but added a bit of innovation with help from Qingwen!

But lucky la, everytime he got rescue cat i sure got gladial beast chariot ready to counter it... two times he tio my chariot then he sian jipua... last time I remember during tourney got K-ed by him because of the rescue cat, and I was playing lightsworns =.=

Crossroads of Chaos booster pack came out today, and I got quite a lot of good foils, thanks to shop auntie because she's so nice, that's why everytime I will buy from her.

Got Holographic Black Rose Dragon, and a few more synchro and cool foils I got.. I'm sure lucky today; the past few days were horrendous I've been losing dota matches, did quite badly for mid years etc..

Well, no doubt I'll be studying through the night today, trying to get all my concepts right, hoping I will not disappoint any of my teachers again.

Ok don't talk about mid years. It just sucked for me. Not for paper 1 [mcq] though.

That's why I'm going to do a analysis of paper 1! With tikam method!

I'm sure for many in our class we usually are very acquainted to the tikam method, so sit back and watch the probabilities that I'm going to type below. [WARNING: If you don't like stats, u can ignore the first part]

1. Let X be the number of MCQ questions you get correct in a 40 questions paper. [P(right) = 0.25 because there are four answers so 1/4 = 0.25]

2. Assume X to follow a Binomial Distribution as inspired by Bernoulli.
Therefore X~B(sample size, probability)
X~B(40, 0.25)

3. Key into a GC - binompdf[sample size, probability, your score!]
The lower the probability, the smarter you are! [This is subjective to unforseen circumstances]

An example:

My score: 29
X~B(40, 0.25)

Key into GC - binompdf(40, 0.25, 29) That is P(X=29)

Heh today was the Chemistry P1 and P2... not bad la but if given more time I could complete the paper.. and what I studied came out! Never study also come out I also noe how to do =x Hehehh

After exam same gang went movies again! Yihao, Desmond, Thomas, Weiguang, Shermaine, twins Samantha and Rebecca, Siya and Joslyn all went to watch... we wanted to watch the movie "Dun mess with the Zohan"... but Desmond watch b4 le so we watched Wanted instead... The movie was really very vulgar and gory.. so many F words and the headshots the assassins did was really very bloody... But overall the movie was okay... because the visuals and the effects were great but the storyline sucks... In the end Angelina Jolie also die... Sad sia lol

Anyway, next movie I hope to catch is Hancock! Sounds dam funny! Hope can see Will Smith act stupidly hahaha

Heh today Biology Paper 2 sian... a lot of thinking questions and memorising that needs to be done lol... I think I'm dead liao.

Anyway today after paper... very fast end.. about 10am we leave school liao then go TM makan and "go shopping"... during mac that time joslyn lost her IC... then in the end we call Miss Lee go help her find lol... then finally find dao le... Too bad joslyn need treat Miss Lee pizza liao hahaha..

After mac breakfast we went to popular to slack, look at cds... argh I can't find Ayumi Hamasaki Guilty album sia! Was quite mad cos I was searching for it for very long liao...

After slacking Weiguang came and we go watch movie... called "Get Smart".. got star the rock sia but he's a double agent in the movie... is really dam funny lah... esp the part when agent 86 went into the room and almost got killed... he subdued the guy but then he had a very huge center of gravity thus it was tough lifting him for the biometric lock to be open... then that part was dam funny sia.. it was like knocking that person head on the lock and the lock kept responding, "access denied"

Just finished the stupid bio paper one today. And it sucks. I miscalculated my time I needed and I forgot to do ONE WHOLE question. Well looking on the bright side, I finished the rest and the essay was pretty chickenfeet to me :D

Anyway... Maths was horrible. Mathematical Induction didn't come out, Integration too. I wasted a lot of time on these two topics and they didn't come out. What the hell. But differential equations was easy; managed to finish that question. I have a hunch I'm going to disappoint Miss Lee again. Well is not like I did not try my best. I'm seriously gonna do well for the Paper 2... WEE STATISTICS!

GP was ok... nothing to say on it but thanks to my wonderful memory I forgot to do 1 question also. Bloody hell.

Chemistry... Dun wanna talk about it.. just makes my blood boil...

Darn sian... today GP remedial.. 4 hours.. Wake up that time got running nose.. perhaps got very little sleep ba... but nevertheless I still went to school for lessons, almost everyone came, except for a few who were sick... yeah take care manz!

Miss Hua went through Paper 1 and Paper 2... oh great I hope I am able to catch up with everything by the midyears... Peiyi just came back from Czech Republic two days ago... Congrats! Won First in Singapore and Second overall for the Choir! Well I must relate this to Perth manz... the water sucks like hell larhh.. so salty I think it's not even fit for consumption can.. Anyway I got a keychain from Peiyi which is damn cute lah! The doggy key chain =D is now on my bag!

Oh.. and I've decided to leave for good. I can't possibly take so much accusations and duties at the same time when people expect me to be perfectionist. But to that person, one warning: Don't make me, or I'll make you. U say wan DQ me from world, come lor. U wan guailan me, I will guailan you back. Dun think I very easy bully lor. There's a question that is running in my head right now, hoping I'll find the answer soon.

What are friends for?

There's this recent incident on the clan forum, for which, with absolutely no harm intended, someone accused me of trying to take over the clan. Well I dunno what should I say.. should I leave this clan for good? I'm not sure of this decision.. hoping I'll come to a conclusion sooner or later.

To that person who accused me of trying to take over the clan: I've absolutely nothing against you, I never even thought of usurping your authority in the clan. I've posted something for the tournament, hoping that u will one day recognise my efforts for the clan. But I didn't expect such a reaction from you. If you wanna disqualify me for the world, go ahead. All the better for me I'll be able to put in more effort in my studies.

And it only shows how childish you can be. I still remember that time when u accused me of doing something wrong. Ah ben called me to post up for tournament on TCG, during that time, LODT wasn't even in TCG and I merely posted there that LODT wasn't allowed cause it was TCG and u called me up and gave me a dressing down. After that which u agreed that LODT was not allowed and you never even apologised to me for the wrong accusation you made.

I suddenly felt very tired and went for a 2 hour nap, but still I am very tired.

I don't know what to say... just only know that I know that some friends are really unreliable. I hope I'll meet less [or perhaps none] of this kind of people again..

It's certainly weird not to go anywhere on Saturdays now.. hope I'll be able to divert it to studies and score well for my mid-years and prelims and onward to the A levels!
